first saw "Lover", I unconsciously thought of the person I love, because Calling too much in this way directly touches people's mood, and then I want to know what kind of lover this film will describe.
This is a movie that is longer than I thought, and the development of the story seems to be slower. Raj is innocent throughout the film. Like a child, he feels that if he likes the other person, he will pursue it. As long as he still likes it, he will keep pursuing it. After being sad by her, he will have a bit of revenge mentality (he goes to find Gula's paragraph), when Iman came back and Shakaiqi insisted on leaving, he didn't know what to do. Shakaqi is contradictory. Her light blue eyes make her look sad, but her laughter makes her look cute. She can appreciate that Raj really likes her, but she can't forget Yi Man.
The film focuses on the process of Raj chasing Shakaiqi, focusing on the psychological changes between the two. This change is natural. But this kind of nature makes it possible to understand the ending of the movie early, which makes the ending nothing to behold. The whole story is straightforward and calm.
Now back to the "lover". What you think about all day long, is your lover (Sha Kaiqi) who is persistent for him and willing to spend a difficult life with him; for her happiness, willing to let her go, but you still love her all the time People are your lover (Raj). I think there is a more heartbreaking but implicit love in the film, that is Gula's love for Raj. Shakaiqi is happy when she smiles, but Gula is painful when she smiles. Gula also fell in love with Raj at first sight, but her identity made her afraid to say love, and even if she did (the part when she was dancing), she would not want Raj to agree, because it would ruin him. Fame, and in fact she also knew that he was obsessed with Sha Kaiqi, so she would not bother them in pain. Isn't Raj not her lover!
So there is a kind of love called just laugh for the Yiren. We can understand it into two meanings, 1. In front of the person we love, we always laugh with him (her) all the time, 2. Just for the Yiren smile. As long as the one we love is happy, we are willing to let her (him) go
(After watching this film, I found that I am beginning to yearn for India. I yearn for Indian architecture, decorations, patterns, and the nails on the girl’s nose. The set of the film is really dreamy, but Raj’s dance is a bit... times)
