See you in 1942

I don’t know if you hate the recitation programs on TV like me. Because I watched the frowning and affectionate brows of those reciting readers, every word from the chest cavity to the mouth has gone through hundreds of thousands of times before and now, I will feel chills beyond words. In addition, the worst thing about this kind of program is that it is too easy to get applause. It doesn’t need to be exciting. It only needs to raise the tone of the last sentence as if stepping on the accelerator. From the perspective of the volume, it is deafening and applause is natural. It's full. The last sentence that I read can't dissipate in my ears for a long time, giving me the feeling of a poor-quality engine.

Of course, it is not appropriate to compare "Tangshan Earthquake" to a recitation, but in the movie theater I always feel that some parts of this movie are just as strong as the last recitation.

In fact, whether the film is the main theme or whether it is a promotional film for Tangshan, these issues are irrelevant. The core issue is whether the film is good or not and whether it is good. This must vary from person to person.

After everyone watched a movie, some people said it was good and some people said it was bad. This is normal. People who are different from you are not necessarily "pretending to be coercive." If you see that everyone is the same as you, then you must be a leading cadre. As for those who scored without watching it, I don’t think it accounted for much. Those who write film reviews early may watch the internal screening before the movie is released. Why bother about this every day?

I simply don't think it looks good. The preparatory activities before entering the venue were very exaggerated. Someone was sending out tissues at the entrance of the theater, which seemed to be a warning: you must cry. Everyone is ready to cry. Everyone is holding a tissue tightly after sitting down, eager to try, but there are at least 20 commercials before the actual screening. This is a long foreplay, everyone has not yet cried. They all laughed.

Disaster came not long after the film started. This is a reminder that everyone should cry. But the setting of the plot is too hasty. All plots are just a result. Of course, earthquakes can come unreasonably, but what about others? Xiao Fang Deng said that he would live, and Xiao Fangda was disabled and strong, dropped out of school and left home, and could become a boss. All the plots rushed towards the most conflicting direction, and broke out without giving reasons. This is just like Feng Xiaogang's previous movies. The heroine doesn't know why he walked with Uncle Ge. To be honest, even if those shots made me cry, it doesn't mean you did a great job. It is no different from everyone's applause after the recitation.

I have been eager to be moved from start to finish, but I never opened the tissue bag. In fact, I am a person who is easily moved, and many small things can become my tear gas. But I really didn't realize any tears in "Tangshan", let alone cry from beginning to end. How can I feel so little sincerity for this blockbuster under the banner of "sincerity"? There are indeed many people crying in the cinema. They are tears that have been planned for a long time to shed. The water is really full of water.

Yes, I am too young, I have never experienced an earthquake, I don't understand. But if you make a movie with a box office of 500 million, it's not for a specific group of people, right? So don't rely on the old to sell the old, as a human being, every audience's reaction has reference value. After the movie ended, I watched everyone around me carefully. I found that at least half of the crowd had no signs of crying like me. My mood was very complicated, like walking in a line of murderers.

A few years ago, director Xiaogang used his cleverness to get a big box office. In the years when no one knew how to make a good commercial film, he really did not meet his opponents. I have always liked his movies, fresh and interesting. I saw an interview very early and he said that he had an ideal, which was to shoot "1942" by Liu Zhenyun. He said that he had made so many films to prepare for "1942". I was very touched by these words. I have read Liu Zhenyun's novel and it is very good. Suddenly I felt that Director Feng was better and more emotional than I had imagined.

However, that was not the case later, and "1942" was hardly mentioned. From then on, he must call the box office, the box office is all the gold content, and the box office is the criterion for all judgments. He regards serving the audience as the only way out for the movie, and he bluntly moved out of the box office when he met criticism. "1942" hasn't been seen yet, but "Yi is the Second" is engraved on the face.

Director Xiao Gang is a man of temperament, he dared to reveal his heart, which makes him very cute, but why is a cute person so intolerant? His sarcasm on literary films far exceeds the burying of him by film critics. It seems that what he is doing is an amazing thing, it is the right path of the movie, and other people are either getting confused or pretending.

"Wang Kar-wai's film is also called a movie?"
"Don't look at the things Hou Xiaoxian usually shoots, I tell you he also likes to watch Hollywood blockbusters in private."
"Ning Hao is good, but he always wants to make a ring. Insiders say that he’s NB films, hey, he doesn’t understand, it’s useless to let those people say NB.”

In the mind of director Xiaogang, only movies that can make a lot of money are NB. He formulated a "movie" The definition of good and bad has formulated the rules of "commercial film". He said that there are no rules in his eyes, but in fact he just gave the rules to others. It is of course a good thing for a movie to have a booming box office, but the box office does not mean everything. In my opinion, a director should be a little bit beyond the box office pursuit. If you think that only money is the last word, then you are unreasonable.

For so many years, Feng Xiaogang's best friend and enemy, the greatest glory and sorrow, are all at the box office. I am a fan of his movie. I have watched every one of his movies. I look forward to "1942", but I don't expect a Feng Xiaogang kidnapped at the box office, or Feng Xiaogang who treats movies as his homework.

  • Dong Guilan: [displeased, very quietly] What a disgrace.

Wang Deqing: Are you talking about me? What have I done?

Dong Guilan: The child is already grown up. Look at what you're wearing.

Wang Deqing: [glances at his casual T-shirt and shorts] Huh, I'm at home. Should I be dressed like a king? Can't I even enter my own child's room?

  • Dong Guilan: The two of you are the ones I care most about in my life. But you both... never wanted to be with me.
