I watched this film many times, not because I was abnormal, but because I noticed something different every time I watch it. I have to say that Li Bihua is really an idol. There is nothing in her book that is not wonderful or not that is not profound.
There are a few shots with the deepest reflections: When
Mrs. Li went to look for Aunt Mei, there was an old woman in the hallway shaving her face (I don’t know what that’s for, I vaguely think it has something to do with beauty)
. While making dumplings, Aunt Mei turned on the TV and showed the film when Li was too young. The
young girl died in a pool of blood.
Aunt Mei went to the mainland and saw her ex-husband (has grey hair).
Mr. Li saw the picture of Aunt Mei on the wall. Now, despite hesitating for a while, the OO cross-cutting


story is very smooth at first, without any delay. The gathering of many details allows you to gradually enter the story itself.
Bai Ling's performance was really good, she played a charming old woman very realistically. The action expression is very good. Especially when making noodles, stepping on kitsch high-heeled shoes, it vividly showed the fearlessness of a woman.

A movie that men and women should watch.
