At the beginning of the film, I habitually looked for the meaning of the narrative, but as the story unfolded, I gradually understood that any search is futile, take it easy, just smile and watch Uncle Ku spoof it once. At least, there is still a bit of incest in the film, which can be regarded as a little room for adultery.
In terms of structure, the arrangement of the story is fairly symmetrical. But in any case, the inspiration of the story itself is too mentally retarded and clumsy. Even if Uncle Ku has clever craftsmanship, he can't make up for the inherent defects of the story itself.
Regarding the laughter in the story, I felt that I was not sufficiently prepared, that there was not enough tension in the burst, and not smart enough. It is really the biggest failure of this movie. It's not funny, and I really hope that the audience will feel embarrassed to laugh.
The dripping folk string music is Uncle Ku’s signature, and we can still feel the demeanor of Uncle Ku yesterday.
The only highlight of the film is the performance of two young actors. For such an adult theme, they are not in the slightest, natural and in place. It can be seen that the director's skill is still there.
In any case, the film can give the audience more than two hours of very excited and happy emotions, and it is already a very good movie that can be enjoyed in the cinema. As for after reading, please don't think too much. Any master will have a flaw, a dazzling halo, and will also blind his eyes.
