At the concert, little Brian’s frequent voices were eye-catching.
After the music ended, the principal stepped onto the stage and asked everyone: Did you hear any other sounds?
All the children looked at little Brian.
The principal invited little Brian to come on stage.
Why are you making strange noises? The principal asked.
Little Brian took the microphone and faced the classmates in the school, making strange noises, twitching his neck, and saying: I don't like the sounds I make just like everyone else. However, I can't control it. I have Tourette's disease.
The principal said: What are you going to do?
Little Brian said: There is no cure for this disease now. I want to be like everyone.
The principal said: Well, you are no different from everyone.
The principal's approach was like a big hand pushing aside the dark clouds, making little Brian's later student career full of sunshine.
