The story takes place on a certain street on the eve of the Soviet army's complete occupation of Berlin. In order to avoid artillery fire, most civilians can only hide in the basement. The civilians mentioned here are actually old, young, women and children. Most of them are women. The story is true. Due to the ugliness that exposed too much human nature, the film is quite controversial, and many people don't like it, because the plot is neither romantic nor the protagonist is not beautiful, only the description of reality. And I like this film very much because of its truthfulness. It truly shows the suffering caused by war to ordinary people, whether it is the aggressor or the aggressor, the victor or the defeated. It's not just blood and killing, but the display and amplification of the shortcomings of human nature. Only war can strip people of their hypocrisy and show others a selfish, insignificant, and greedy heart. I think this is what the film really wants to show.
The scenes of the film should be realistic. Basically, it was shot in a pile of rubble, dusty everywhere; the sound reproduction is also good; the language is German and Russian interactively.
