Samsung is relative to the off-Broadway musical version. As far as a boring little movie to kill time in the afternoon, it's not bad. Drew Barrymore's performance often feels unnatural. Maybe the musical version is too deeply rooted in my mind, and I always feel that the emotional development and transformation of the movie version is very unnatural. Needless to say, the singing voice is not an exaggeration to describe it as miserable, but it is understandable in this plot. Because to make them sing like Christine Ebersole, little Edith will not escape from New York. The handling of the final ending is a bit too fairy tale, and beautifully I can't bear it, which directly leads to Samsung's evaluation.
