Compared with "This Is England", without the era environment of the Battle of Inmara Island, the breakdown and sadness are gone. Focusing on an inconspicuous place name, "Sumers Town" only tells the friendship and trust between two teenagers. The total length of the film is 68 minutes, and the length is so short that the director didn't bother to open the background of the characters, because it didn't reach it and didn't need it.
Tomo ran away alone, Marek lacked the warmth of the family. One is a stranger, a small devil. One is a new immigrant, taciturn.
