"Maelstrom" can be regarded as a one-stop work. After watching the whole film, I was completely overwhelmed by the author's imagination. The weird style runs through the beginning and the end, and the detailed plot processing is in place to tell this fantastic and unusual story as if it were actually happening.
But of course the movie is somewhat different from the comics, and many plots are greatly compromised because it is impossible or difficult to shoot. And it's obviously a slightly horror fantasy work, but the movie version has become a slightly fantasy horror movie.
But what I want to say is that it’s still great. If you haven’t seen it before, it’s better to watch the movie and then the comic. The movie is a little horror, I don't know the plot is more enjoyable.
