Synopsis Twelve years after the Meiji Restoration Movement, Japan ushered in a new era. The once domineering executioner Kenshin Himura has now become a pacifist, living a peaceful life in Tokyo with his friends. One night, Jianxin's favorite restaurant was attacked by artillery fire, leaving only a note saying "Ren Zhu"—someone was going to walk the way for the sky, and the day of judgment was near. This person was named Xuedaiyuan, who had a grudge against Jianxin and brought a group of men to come for revenge. Witnessing countless innocent people involved in this cruel struggle, Jianxin will eventually face a trial and find salvation for the past. The reason for hating Jianxin is because Xuedaiyuan witnessed his sister, Xuedaiba was brutally killed by Jianxin. In fact, things are not that simple. When he saw his sister's diary, he realized that his sister had fallen in love with this man. The scariest enemy in the movie series, Xue Daiyuan, appears in this film. He launched a large-scale attack on Tokyo, intending to avenge Kenshin. The cast of ace cast members who participated in the first few movies of "Excalibur" once again gather to carry this final battle for Jianxin, and at the same time move towards a new ultimate peak: "The Final". "The Beginning" brings the timeline back to the end of the Shogunate, explores the origin of this resentment, and unearths the mysterious cause of the crossed knife scar on Kenshin's face. [1]
