General plot:
The detective investigating the disappearance of the girl Annalu was in a car accident and had no clear memory. The police called a psychiatrist to assist in investigating the detective's problem, and the detective gradually recalled the process of the investigation.
The real culprit was the professor. Seeing that the suspect in the supermarket bomb case on TV was released due to insufficient evidence and received millions of compensation from the state. The professor was living in distress, so he planned to imitate the mister’s kidnapping and killing the girl Annalu, and used to track Anna’s boys and appeared by car. In its footage, the police suspected that he was the murderer. The key is that he committed the crime without dripping water, the police could not find the dead body nor any evidence of his crime, so he dared to risk making himself a suspect.
Through police investigations and the media, he once got what he wanted. After being acquitted, he became famous and profited a lot from it.
While preparing for an interview at the backstage of the TV station, the inspector saw the mark on the professor’s wrist that imitated the victim girl because it was written in the girl’s diary. People who did not see the girl and the diary would not know the pattern, so the inspector concluded The professor was the real murderer, but because he couldn't find any evidence to prove it, and because the suspect in the supermarket bomb case he investigated before was released because of insufficient evidence, he was tricked by the professor this time. Professor, the incoming female police handcuffed the detective and added blood on the detective to prove that what was said was true. There was a car accident due to heavy fog on the road, causing temporary amnesia or pretending to be amnesia, so the police hired a psychologist to assist in the investigation.
After investigating the inspector’s question, the psychiatrist went home to show his true colors (the old woman sleeping on the bed, only his wife), and found out the box with six strands of hair. He was the mister 30 years ago and killed six. The real murderer of a girl.
Some Douyou said that he heard the sirens at the end of the film. It is estimated that it was added after the domestic version. The radio and television has stipulated that the criminals cannot be allowed to go unpunished at the end of the domestically screened film, and the sirens were specially added to make the audience think he will be arrested. The endings of several films that have been watched in the domestic version have therefore been revised.
The sound of the police siren may have also interfered with the judgment of some viewers of the film, thinking that the inspector deliberately came to dictate in order to catch the mister.
The original foreign version I watched had no police sirens, and there was no police clue in the film that pointed to the psychologist being a mister, so he was still at large, just letting the audience know.
