Is murder really innocent?

When the film was released in May, I was very interested in "Innocent Murder", and luckily, I won two movie tickets that were not distributed, so I planned the time to remember my youth. After Nianhua ("Lord of the Rings" series), go to see this movie.

However, "Innocent Murder" has a pitiful number of movie theaters in Guangzhou. I originally ordered the Friday movie, but I was notified that it was temporarily cancelled because I only sold two tickets. Finally, the movie theater refunded me the ticket and arranged for us to watch "Fast and Furious 9"...

On Saturday, Uncle Goldfish wanted to have a dinner with relatives, and I was the only one left. Later, I booked a movie theater far away in Yuexiu to go to the movies across most of Guangzhou... (the other ticket was in the reading group and I found a partner together)

The biggest feeling after watching it is that it's worthwhile that I traveled through Guangzhou, a big half, and left my girl to watch this movie!

The story is actually quite plain, and the plot is not complicated.

Corinne was an honest worker who had worked for Mercedes-Benz for decades, but one day he suddenly surrendered and killed the entrepreneur Hans Meyer. Ryan, a fledgling lawyer, became Colinni's defense attorney. This was the first case he took.

However, Meyer is the grandfather of Ryan's first love and old friend, and Ryan's growth has also received a lot of help from Meyer. At the same time, Ryan's opponent Richard is a very experienced lawyer, and to some extent his teacher.

After being arrested, Corinne remained silent, which made Ryan's defense impossible. Until Ryan accidentally discovered that the murder weapon used by Colinni was not a common pistol, under his diligent investigation, Colinni finally confessed his motive for committing the crime...

Compared with ordinary homicide movies, this movie is not particularly "exciting", and the only reversal ("World War II") has become unsurprising because the propaganda film has already been spoiled. Whether it is from the court's promotion or the process of searching for the truth, everything is as plain as water.

But it is precisely because of this dullness that the scars after the war have become extra real. It’s hard to imagine that when I watched such a dull movie, I watched that little boy but still burst into tears...

I think the best thing in the movie is the handling of the father's role.

Ryan has been estranged from his father for many years; Meyer is like a grandfather/father to Ryan; Corinne talked to Ryan for the first time and mentioned that " Visit your father more often, he won't be there forever." ; Corinne’s father died for him; Ryan and his father’s ice-breaking was that they looked through the files together; the witness for Corinne was the son of the witness translator...

Especially between Meyer and Ryan, from Ryan's perspective, it is difficult to imagine that the loving person who changed the trajectory of his life was once an executioner. I am even willing to regard Meyer’s goodness to Ryan as a confession of his mistakes made when he was young—just like Meyer who was shot by Corinne, who knelt in front of him and closed his eyes to accept his destiny. Yeah.

Believe me, people are not black and white... they are all gray.

Undoubtedly, compared with the original work, the film gave greater dramatic conflict and a better ending. For example, Meyer who does more charity, Meyer who is willing to meet revenge and death, and the boy who can finally return with his father...

It is a pity that reality is not a movie. When the Germans reflected on their mistakes during World War II, Japan still tried to cover up and whitewash history. I can't understand those Jingri's "forgiveness" cheeks at all, these people are not qualified. Only when the perpetrators sincerely repent and try to make up for it, can they pray for the victim's forgiveness; and whether the victim can forgive the perpetrator is their free decision.

Although the Chinese title used "not guilty" to describe the murder, the film cleverly ended the trial with Corinne's death. Whether he is guilty or not, the justice can no longer conduct a trial. But I can't help wondering whether it was Meyer or Corinne that really caused this murder, or the unfair justice itself?

War is undoubtedly cruel, and after the war, how to demonstrate social justice through justice is something we need to think about. When justice cannot maintain justice, justice can only be maintained by lynching-this is the sorrow of justice.

We in Italy have a saying that the dead have no hatred, but the living bears hatred.
