Three points for the first half

The retro tones, scenes, and costumes of the movie are all my favorite styles, with a strong French romance. The acquaintances in the first half of the film are also fascinating. From the beginning of the corpse to the dancing on the grave, this movie is destined to have the artistic atmosphere of death. The two of them are not completely the same. To be honest, "the beginning of the end" is really incredible. This transition is really unacceptable, although It has been hinted before. The art in the second half is the kind that I don't like, it makes me feel less beautiful, and even more embarrassing. It seems to be vigorous but it seems that there is not so much love.

My own private Idaho-like characters + The talented Mr. Ripley-style summer by the sea + French youth under the framework of Call me by your name, perhaps because it is adapted from the youth literature of 82 years, and many common summer youth movie elements (playground , Motorcycle, dancing, understanding female companion), but Alex is so cute, the first half comes with sweets. The plot surrounding death in the second half enriches a youth love story. I like the comedy elements in it (Mama David who is self-familiar, going to the morgue in a dress, Uncle Jackie), but the thinking about death behind the story and the depiction of emotionally driven impulsive behavior are extremely real. Similar will prefer the 18 year old Plaire, aimer et courir vite. (I really can’t love Rod Stewart’s Sailing)
