The translation of the Chinese subtitles retranslated version of this film is mainly based on the content and timeline of the English subtitles . Since the original subtitles in Spanish could not be found , the machine copy of the Portuguese and Italian subtitles was referred to, and the suspected errors and omissions of the English subtitles were proofread and corrected. In order to ensure fluent meaning and easy understanding, some lines use both literal translation and free translation, and complement the information according to the context . Under several terms that are relatively unfamiliar to domestic audiences , notes on relevant background knowledge have been added . In addition, according to the principle of uniform transliteration of Spanish names, "Zama" was translated into "Samar". Translators are not professional and have limited ability, so absolute translation quality cannot be guaranteed. This retranslated version of subtitles is for reference only for appreciation and communication .
