The story takes place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1950. 18-year-old Eurydice and 20-year-old Jeddah are inseparable biological sisters who live with conservative parents. Despite the traditional family traditions, the two sisters have their own dreams: Eurydice wants to be a professional pianist, and Jeddah is eager to pursue true love. After a dramatic change, the sisters were forced to separate, and their respective dreams were put on hold due to the helplessness of life. Even so, the sisters never gave up the hope of finding each other.
