McQueen

Although many fashion bloggers have recommended a documentary about McQueen, it is the first time I have watched it completely. I was still shocked by McQueen's understanding of art.

The people around you discuss fashion and catwalks, and the most talked about is the kind of clothes that can be worn out? If they saw McQueen's show, they should be even more incomprehensible!

The McQueen graduation show "Jack the Ripper follows her victims" tells of the brutal use of Jack the Ripper to follow and kill at least five prostitutes in the East End of London. McQueen used historical stories in his creation. In his design works, he used human hair to decorate the design. In the black coat, the human hair is blood red, like a flesh and blood body. He completely broke the traditional design style, and his works perfectly interpret what is violent aesthetics.

And his other work "Rape in the Plateau" further confirms McQueen's "crazy". Every piece of his design is telling the violence suffered by women. I just saw this show and I couldn't understand why McQueen made such a design? It really makes people, especially women, feel very uncomfortable to see. In fact, McQueen is not misogynistic, but in a way to protect women and himself, by creating these strong, armored women, it is also an inner arm of his own heart.

McQueen's life was not so glamorous. Each of his shows is a cruel memory of his life. From McQueen’s works, we can see emotional tension, including anger, terror, anxiety, death, beauty, and rebirth. His life is lucky. Fortunately, he met a confidant, but unfortunately, the confidant left first.
