Whose arrogance and whose prejudice

Jane loves Bingley deeply, but she can only wait for Bingley’s initiative to marry him; Darcy loves Elizabeth deeply, but hesitates because the behavior of people around her does not conform to the views of the upper class... Whether love and marriage can have both ? Can the concept of class and one's own conditions be mutually tolerant? These issues are exhaustive in the play, but fortunately, it ends with a happy ending. The film follows a light comedy route. There are a lot of handsome men and beautiful women, and the costume design is very good. Moms and dads are also full of drama. In terms of caring for their children, I feel that there is little difference between the East and the West.

Greer Garson's version of Elizabeth is too sophisticated

Part of the lines completely used the original sentence, but for important plots such as Lizzy and uncle going to Pemberley, weddings, too many deletions. Lizzy is more calm and decent than other versions. Jane is not beautiful and stable and has no sense of presence. Darcy is overly active and writes more about Mary and Kitty. Lydia is the most fixed in each version, and even looks similar. However, the atmosphere of the old movies is still incomparable, and the voice of the characters can cure the irritability.

Pride and Prejudice quotes

  • Elizabeth Bennet: Oh, if you want to be really refined, you have to be dead. There's no one as dignified as a mummy

  • Elizabeth Bennet: How clever of you, Miss Bingley, to know something of which you are ignorant.
