I just finished reading "This Man Comes From Earth: The Holocaust". It has been ten years since the first book. This book mainly discusses Jesus Christ and the Bible, but there are not too many fragments. Most of the film is looking for the "truth" of the protagonist, and in the second half of the ten minutes to discuss the problem, but only a Christian and a protagonist who has lived for tens of thousands of years are discussed.
It feels not as deep as the first one, and there are some small loopholes in the movie, such as where did the Christian student go, and the few people who took pictures of the protagonist and the protagonist’s lover, but they just didn’t send it to that person. I have to go for sneak shots in the middle of the night to speed up the protagonist's departure, and the female character seems to be trying to seduce the protagonist only to leak information in the later stage, but also to make the protagonist leave passively. I don’t know much about Christianity, so I’m out of the scope of talking about it.
The second film is more cinematic and obviously more expensive. Two-thirds of the films are outdoor scenes. However, compared to the first one, I prefer to discuss more issues, although most of the scenes are It was shot in an indoor scene, but the meaning to be expressed is more than that.
I think the main theme of the second part should be: seeking roots, life and death, truth, whether Jesus exists, and whether the protagonist is Jesus. In the end, the director left an open ending and was preparing to shoot the third part. If there is a third part, it should be in 2027. The second part of the protagonist is already a bit old. What about the next ten years?
