This film is a bit frightening to contemplate. The film is as noisy as Fellini's other works and is not conducive to sleep, but not only from the end, but from the whole film, the sense of loneliness is always enveloped. I can't help but feel that from beginning to end, there is only Auguste, and his former best friend is nothing more than a projection of his life stage and different personalities. It is said that he can't have family members in this business, but family members are his life's ties. Picasso is the young man who has ideals and talents but suffers from no way to achieve it; his other companion is him who wants to steal and play, but has a realistic romance; and his daughter represents the kindness and innocence in his heart. But the reality is that throughout their lives, they have to use inferior means to deceive the poor people living at the bottom. Isn't this unbearable process the life itself struggling in reality? While trying to do the last thing for my inner kindness and innocence in life, I was shattered by reality and could only die alone on the uneven road in life. When he used his last strength to look at the passing children (who want to experience the new life of life), he desperately said "Take me along", but after all, he won in reality. He is a liar and deserves to die in the wilderness.
