After watching this movie 13 years ago, I will express my personal opinion. First: From the American point of view, a group of U.S. troops angered by terrorists rushed to civilian houses to kill civilians, showing how vulnerable the American military's combat literacy and psychological quality are in those shots! Judging from the average age of the US military at 20, they are all young men with immature minds. After only normal instructor training, but before going through the actual combat training, he went to the battlefield. Seeing a teammate was killed, he couldn't calm down and wanted revenge, so he killed everyone. This reflects the general non-discipline and poor psychological quality of US soldiers at the grassroots level. It can also be seen from a large amount of data on the ease of mental illness when off the battlefield that the grassroots soldiers of the US military are really weak. Of course, it also reflects that if American soldiers do not have powerful weapons and technology, it is difficult for such soldiers to make a difference. The backup will collapse and surrender. Second: From the perspective of terrorists, this is undoubtedly very successful. You can anger American soldiers at the lowest cost. Then using the US military to kill civilians can not only attack the Americans in international public opinion, but also use the seeds of the Iraqi people's hatred of the Americans to strengthen their own strength. It can be said to kill three birds with one stone! From the perspective of a terrorist, it's perfect!
Third: From the perspective of the civilians slaughtered in Iraq, I think this group deserves it! Although this is very inhumane. However, the fact is that this group of civilians who have no concept of war, obviously saw someone planting a bomb on the side of the road, but pretended to know nothing. Just like Mr. Lu Xun scolded his own countrymen,-insensitive! Yes, you can choose to report to the Americans or you can choose to pack up and escape. But they just pretended not to know anything. Neither want to offend the Americans or fear terrorist revenge! Such inaction eventually harmed myself and family. It has become a tool of use for terrorists. I really have no sympathy for this kind of people and civilians who have no obvious concept of war, their country is occupied by foreigners, and they are still living slowly. Their insensitivity and selfishness have also destined them to pay the price of their lives!
Let me add a digression. After watching this movie, I actually don't think about how "hypocritical" Americans are and how "pathetic" Iraqis are. The only thing I think about is that the snipe and the clam fight, and the fisherman benefits! It is precisely because the quagmire of the Iraq War dragged the Americans that there was a 10-year golden period of China's development. China should be grateful for the sacrifices of the Iraqi terrorists and the broad masses of people for winning this precious period of strategic development for itself. Now it is the Sino-US science and technology war and trade war. The United States has freed up its hands to start a full confrontation with China! China should calmly analyze and sum up the lessons. If a hot war between China and the United States breaks out in the future, China should make more use of the weak psychology and poor combat literacy of the US grassroots soldiers to beat the US military! Of course, the US military also has ace troops. We must study the US military in advance, in addition to studying their weapons and equipment and information combat system. We should study "psychological warfare" more!

Finally, talking about this movie, I think it is too long to describe the tragedy in the form of a documentary. The director spent almost 1/2 of the time explaining the background. The final highlight, the scene of the war was only a mere 10 minutes, which neither rendered the cruelty of the war, but also made people look very dull and boring. I basically fast-forwarded. If it weren't for the adaptation of a real story, the film was really "boring".
