This subverted my understanding of previous gangster movies. The "Godfather" series focuses on the mafia's responsibility and growth to the family, while "Traitor" is the result of the internal corruption of the gang and the struggle for power. Boudasi is one of the victims of the internal struggle and serves as the starting point for breaking through the evil. The uncle who watched Budasi’s children grow up was so cruel that he could break the rules of tacit understanding and strangle the child to death. This is really not what humans did! When I saw Budassi testify in court, I remembered "Infernal Affairs". Although no party in "Traitor" is truly justice, the film gives me the feeling that this is the confrontation between conscience and desire. Let me describe it this way. This theme reminds me of Polanski's "Rosemary's Baby". He was very influential when he finished filming the film, even offending the cult. His eight-month-old wife died tragically at home. So I admire the director's courage, dare to shoot this side, and at the same time worry about them. It is in the soundtrack. I think some parts are not good. Although I know it is used to contrast the tragic situation of Budasi, it may be because the rhythm of the music and the picture do not match, I always play.
