Lover under the olive tree

I personally think that the male protagonist is just talkative. I don’t have money and nothing. I really rely on a mouth: Don’t believe your grandma, she only likes a rich grandson-in-law, and I don’t want to see her. His view of marriage and love is: scholars marry illiterate people, rich people marry poor people, and landlords who have no homes...otherwise the world will never change. The standard concept of getting rich through marriage and precise poverty alleviation is simply the public enemy of all mothers-in-law. It feels a bit annoying. First, I watched this film for the romantic title, but from the beginning I always felt that the pace was slow, and it was a bit boring to talk about it. But when the chattering male protagonist chased the female protagonist to confess, passing under the olive tree, a long shot caught the audience's heart. Looking down from the hillside, I saw the figures of the hero and heroine in the green mountains and plains like two white doves, dancing with soothing music, breathtakingly beautiful. I saw two white figures getting closer and closer on the screen, and finally they met and stopped. The audience invariably held their breath: Did it succeed or not? At this time, the two figures were separated, and the music became relaxed and cheerful. We can't see the male protagonist's expression, but we can feel the joy in his cheerful figure and cheerful music. Personally, I think the director told the audience the picturesque beauty of life and love through the ruined walls after the earthquake and the refreshing scenery at the end of the film, as well as the contrast between the protagonist’s long-term depression and the joy after a successful marriage proposal. Refreshing.

  • Hossein: Mam, I'm really sorry. I want to do everything you ask me, but I won't do masonry. I don't work in construction anymore. I came to act in your film. I will work as an actor, but not as a mason.
