"Mind your language" is a British drama aired in December 1977. It tells an interesting story that happened when the English teacher Mr. Brown taught students whose English is not their native language. A total of three seasons, I only watched the first two seasons. The third season was abandoned because the French girl Danielle's hairstyle became very difficult to describe, and it was completely out of line with the goddess setting. Everyone can feel the difference (picture 2 is the hairstyle of the third season).
Highlights:
Although the students in each play come from different countries and have different religious beliefs, their enthusiasm and kindness have closely linked each other. Now it seems that this is a utopian world. If the various races in the world are not so facing each other, there won't be so many disputes.
Every character in the play is portrayed very interestingly. Many characters have their own catchphrases: the Spanish man Juan’s catchphrase is: "Por favor" (the meaning of please); the Indian Sikh Ranjeet always says "a thousand apologies"; the Pakistani Ali likes to say "Squeeze me please" (he I want to say "Excuse me please"); Hungarian Zoltán often says "Bocsánat?" (meaning "sorry" or "excuse me").
The actor who plays the role of the restaurant cashier Gladys always feels the exquisite aristocratic temperament that does not match his identity in the play (Figure 3).
shortcoming:
The thoughts and behaviors of students from different countries in the play are basically the same as the British's inherent impression of them. With racial problems becoming more and more serious, such dramas should not appear anymore.
While this drama is very funny, it also shows how difficult it is to be a teacher. I recommend everyone to watch this show when you feel that life is not easy or you blame the teacher~
