The sun is shining, the wind, rain and thunder are all homesickness for you and me

When watching "May Blue Sky", I always think of my hometown.

It's not because the landscape is similar, but the indifferent friendship to the hometown flowing in the whole film, and it will be homesick, and even be moved inexplicably.

Slowly move the mirror and talk slowly.

We can't see the joys and sorrows from the expressions of the characters, because Ceylon hides all emotions in nature.

You can close your eyes and quietly listen to the sound of wind, rain, thunder and lightning, the rustle of leaves, the sound of birds, and the sound of water;

Relax, relax again, relax slowly, and enjoy this symphony of nature.

This is a "listening" movie, this is a naturalistic movie.

Let us open our eyes again, the vibrant rural landscape, and the spring in the garden.

Everything is so beautiful, with the oil-like texture and pleasant color scheme, I really want to dive in and never come out again.

The temperament of the film is personal, and the director focuses more on his own life experience.

But it is not private. The individual thoughts and family relationships that the movie focuses on, as well as the constant homesickness, are all experienced by everyone.

The prose narrative makes everything more fascinating. There are no specific contradictions and conflicts, and they are all daily descriptions.

There are four intertwined narrative lines in the film: Son Muzafa returns to his hometown to summon relatives and friends to make a movie;

Father has been worrying about his woodland, and he is afraid that people from the Forest Service will cut down his trees;

The 9-year-old nephew paid the price of growth in order to get a music watch;

Aiming, a young man in the small town, failed to enter the university, so he wanted to go to Istanbul.

Everyone is working hard for their own goals. It can be said that this is a movie about "seeking."

The son looks for the mystery of the movie, the father looks for evidence to deal with the Forest Service, the little nephew "looks for" his watch, and Aiming looks for a way out.

Because I was looking for it, I was confused. Each of them is on the road, and everything is unknown in the future, which is why the whole film will show a sense of confusion and sadness.

Just like the little nephew had to carefully carry eggs every day in order to get a music watch.

Because my aunt told him: As long as you can guarantee that the eggs will not break for 40 days, I will ask your father to buy you a music watch. When he carried the tomato up the mountain, the egg broke accidentally.

The frustrated little nephew kicked the fruit basket, and the shiny red tomatoes rolled down the hill, which reminded me of the scattered fruits in "Ivan's Childhood".

"Ivan's Childhood"

He finally adopted the uncle's previous "trick": to find an egg, anyway, the eggs are the same, and others can't see it.

When a child's innocent and innocent mind is baptized by reality, cunning and lies begin to prevail.

The little nephew used little tricks to win opportunities for himself, but he never returned to his former innocence.

This is the cruelty of growth.

The mild wind-like images are as sharp as a knife, and each of us will encounter the cruelty of life.

Thinking of the old man who was eliminated by the director at the beginning, he was suffering from widowhood, but no one listened to his sadness;

Like the coachman in Chekhov’s "Distress"

Aiming could not go to university, but he was unwilling to end his life in a small town. The reality made him run into a wall everywhere;

Muzaffa's father was so embarrassed and tired to deal with the Forest Service.

Everything looked plain and plain, but it was helplessly cruel after thinking about it.

Of course the cruelest thing is the passage of time.

My parents are old, but my hometown remains the same. When Ceylon used the lens to focus on his elderly parents time and time again, the boundary between reality and illusion began to blur, and the ambiguous and lyrical music played, the image was so fresh, natural, spiritual and sincere.

The faces of parents remain in the lens, and the images freeze time and turn them into eternal memories.

And this memory is the nostalgia of Ceylon condensed in the heart.

I outside the screen, looking at everything in front of me:

Under the sunflower, the sun is shining;

Think of the chicken in the pocket, the tortoise in the grass, the tomatoes on the hillside;

Think of the staring old man, the lost youth, the innocent children, the people working in the fields...

This is the homesickness of you and me.
