The film of Jia Zhangke that has lost the foundation of life will definitely be a failed work, but the Fengjie County that the two Shanxi people face in "The Good Man in Three Gorges" is so real, fresh and full of flesh and blood. The script was written by himself, and I admire him very much. I can't imagine how much energy he put into this film to write the Yangtze River from the perspective of a stranger. This may also prove from one aspect that China, outside of Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, does have similarities. While watching this movie, I even had doubts about my career. What is the meaning of the set of values we preached and promoted for this broader China? I digress. What I want to say is that Jia Zhangke at least helped me, a young man who grew up in the city, to see a world that I hadn't really experienced before, especially in this "The Good Man of the Three Gorges" which connects the Yellow River and the Yangtze River. .
