I just finished this movie three times today. If you are upset about coming out of the closet like me, then please be sure to watch this movie. The whole movie perfectly integrates the four things of coming out + self-growth + family + love, romantic and realistic.
The most unforgettable role in the movie is Serek’s mother. As an ordinary person, she hopes that her son can marry a wife and have children and start a family. But after Serek came out in her early years, she chose to respect Serek and was not ashamed. On the contrary, she felt that her son had taught herself a lot.
When Laurent and Serek broke up because of the issue of coming out, she stood up and explained their respective problems and helped restore the relationship.
When Laurent's parents strongly opposed the two people being together, and even drove Laurent away and hoped that there would be no such son, she stood up and confided.
Love is Love, if every LGBT in the world has a confidant like Serek’s mother, coming out is just a matter of love.
