I finally watched that winter heart (Un coeur en hiver) a few days ago. I heard about it many years ago and knew the plot and even the style. After reading it, I still feel melancholy for a long time.

This story is a mystery. It can be said to be the most subtle and charming story about love (if I can use the word) I have seen so far. I can't even find the proper language to describe its plot.

Stephane's posture makes me feel terrible. His existence is like an abyss, quiet and deep, and occasionally flashes of intoxicating blue light, but it is fleeting, so that the woman who unexpectedly finds the light plunges into it, but realizes that the light is already No trace.

The handover between two people was as loud as the touch of a diamond and a jade. When he first watched her play, he didn't say a word, and the huge magnetic field of his existence made her uneasy and unable to concentrate. Rather than immersing himself in music on the road to perfection of art, he would rather approach his beloved from a purely craftsmanship perspective. Musical instruments, in this choice, we can see that he seems to understand the fate of directly entering certain things, so he chooses to stay away, or to approach in a roundabout way.

What impressed him was that in the end he gave the old man an injection of euthanasia (if he understood it correctly), and the sky light the next morning, the dark green field, was silent.

He said, "There is something inanimate in my heart". What is it, let him reject love, family, friendship. And he is by no means a merciless person. You can see his gentle side from his attitude towards his apprentice and the little girl who plays the piano. There is a section in the film that describes him seeing the old couple arguing loudly but finally comforting each other. His expression is painful and complicated. He does not want to (re) involved in any emotions, just like the gadfly that has been rejected, using fragility to come. It may be appropriate to describe this type of person. But this fragile outer layer is a lustrous and delicate jade, which makes people want to explore.

I have to admit that when I was watching this film, I couldn't help being scared, as if I was on the side of an abyss.
