From my personal point of view, the whole film is a step-by-step discussion: how to retrust others after the soul is hurt.
The little wild cat in the film lives alone for a long time, is in a state of high tension with anyone and everything, does not trust anyone, and is easy to blow up (actually to protect himself and not let his fragile side show)

The bulldog represents the stranger in life who wants to be nice to you. Because of our own reasons, we repeatedly rejected the love and care from strangers, thus hurting this stranger (in fact, we know they want to be good to us)
Later, the kitten in the film opened his heart step by step and began to interact with the bulldog. The little wild cat became less irritable, and became more and more lively and cheerful.
