Watch this Dublin Murders after "Confession" and "Truth Catching"

Not the same type of drama.

The only thing in common is to tell a story in a few episodes. So sometimes it feels slow.

Compared with the case of each drama in the unit drama, I recently prefer this kind of meticulous narration. When I really invest in it, I will follow the development of the plot and try to think like the characters in the drama. It’s also like playing a jigsaw puzzle. At first, it’s a pile of fragments. You have to follow all possible clues, down to the position of a cloud, or a color gradient. When the truth becomes clear, a complete picture appears in front of you.

This "Dublin Murder" has just released two episodes, and basically all the fragments are in front of the audience.

The opening is a strange dialogue between the male and female protagonists:

Rob: What if the killed are the lucky ones? The chosen. And the rest of us aren't lucky at all?
Cassie: We won't see each other again.

Then four months before the plot came, the body of Katy, a little ballet girl, was found in the forest.

In the same forest 21 years ago, three children rode in, but only one child returned home. Jamie and Peter had no news from then on.

According to the dialogue at the beginning of the movie, it is guessed that the little boy Adam who came home alive is Rob. There are also hints in the camera: the boy rides a bicycle; followed by two detectives driving through the same road and into the same forest. At the end of the first episode, this speculation was confirmed. The little boy said at the British boarding school that I will be Robert from now on.

Apart from Rob, are there any other connections between the two cases 21 years apart?

Katy has a family with a weird atmosphere: twin sister Jesse with learning disabilities, mother who seems to be abnormal in spirits, and somewhat restrained older sister Rosalind reminds me of characters in Jane Austen’s novels, plus his father Jonathan, who has enemies, to form Devlin. One family.

Aunt Fitzgerald, a nosy neighbor, said:

Katy's twin sister is a fetch, not twins, one from God, an angel (referring to Katy), and the other from hell, exhausting Rosalind's energy.

Dad Jonathan, Sandra, the cleaner of the ballet school, are able to get involved with the two teenagers who disappeared 21 years ago. And Sandra lied in the testimony, denying acquaintance with Jonathan. It is also doubtful.

A homeless sprayed "He Rises" everywhere, with the subtitle translated as "Rising from the pole"; a brawny man wearing a suit and combing his head seemed to be both scared and annoying to this homeless.

The female detective Cassie also has a mysterious stalker who is obsessive-compulsive, and has to cover the forgotten wine bottle in Cassie's apartment. And Cassie's observation ability is also extremely keen, almost immediately discovered the subtle anomalies in the apartment. It turns out that Cassie also has her past, an undercover detective, is Lexie her real name or her real name Cassie?

Detective Quigley, who was regarded as a rookie by Sheriff O'Kelly, accidentally discovered Rob's anomaly. Rob, who had been disguised in the UK for many years, returned to Ireland. His name for the toilet was changed from loo to Jack's, although only once. It was also noticed that Quigley was not a mortal.

There are roughly that many clues.

21 years ago, did Rob do anything to the other two teenagers?

Who killed Katy?

Based on Tuna French's Allen Poe Award Best Debut Novel In the Woods, the last four episodes are probably another murder story from another novel-the title of the murders is plural.

Predicting the story of "Mysterious Forest", in addition to investigating the case, it may also explore the characters' hearts: past and present, forgetting and memory.
