A good gospel story does not need to be in a modern context. This film illustrates this truth. In fact, people have not changed much in their attitudes to truth in the past and present.
The dialogue in the whole film is great, the lines are elegant and not boring, and they are also powerful and not artificial. It simply explains what the Christians are doing. As for the characters, both the church and the Roman soldiers wanted to solve problems through their own wisdom, while Christ’s method was love. A movie clarified the way Christians face the world, because only goodness can overcome evil. It is worth reflecting on every Christian. Many times we seem to be in the name of God, how many of us are still solving problems in our way? Knowing Christ is the key!
Not much to say, the movie is great, I recommend all Christians to watch it!
