It feels so-so, I originally hoped it was the fourth part, but I didn't expect it to be the first remake

I've seen 1 and 2 before, and they look really good. But the plot is forgotten, and the feeling is still there. The new version doesn't have that constant sense of fear, and it's not until the middle of the film that it begins to be published. I didn't want to comment, but I don't agree with other people's explanations.

1. The male protagonist began to be bitten by the little boy and washed with tap water. It should have not been infected at the beginning, and the final plot can be corroborated. (The owner of the grocery store said this was his last child...)

2. The water of the lake was not polluted at first, until the infected people in the forest came to the wooden house and were burned into the water by this group of young people, the water source began to be polluted. (Actually, in the latter part of the movie, the male protagonist and the unrecognizable person who burned it was hinted when they were fighting in the lake, and the male protagonist also found out. In fact, the infected person has been in the water for a long time...)

3. After the above two points are clear, the latter is easy to understand. The next morning, the boyfriend's girlfriend drank water first, so she was the first to get the infection.

4. From the whole plot, in fact, no external contact with the wound will not cause infection, only drinking or eating infected water and food.

Evidence one, the aunt of the farm said to the pig that died of an illness, "I don't know how to eat these dead pork." She did not get sick even if she came into contact with an infected animal like that.

Evidence 2: All infected people have a history of eating infected food. The young people in the wooden house have always drunk water and eaten food.

For the man who died last, the director deliberately gave a shot, rinsed his mouth with water, and took a beer and left by himself. Actually, it was unnecessary. It is impossible not to drink water after a few days. It seems to remind the audience that he has been in contact with contaminated water and that he is infected.
