One day I concentrated on organizing and watching a movie. After watching this movie, I had some thoughts.
As a bystander of the war in Afghanistan, what happened in Afghanistan is just the material and background for the blockbuster of the war for us. Whether it is an American, a Canadian or a Western country in the movie, it has no effect on our viewing experience or perspective. First of all, I think this is not a main theme movie. In the end, the old Afghan warlord and the young male protagonist completed a rebellion only because of personal feelings and loyalty, not because of road or national honor. This is a road that no normal person cares about. The so-called construction ceremony is just a cover for the military to attract the two major forces to fight. No one cares about Afghan farmers or landlords. They all have their own interests to rectify. Canadians want to transport tanks by road and terrorists stop it. That's it. As for everything else that happens, it is meaningless. It's all personal feelings, loyalty, and things other than war.
