"Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles": a mediocre work

I have been a turtle fan for almost 6 years. I think it was TMNT2012 and Ultimate Spider-Man that brought me into the Meiman Pit back then. Now I have been a fan of DC for almost two years. I am naturally very excited to see the linkage animation come out. But this movie feels really average to me.

This is me who saw the movie come out

This is me after watching the movie

This is me who saw the easter egg

Before the film review, I would like to popularize TMNT. I feel that many people don't know this well.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was created by Phantom Studio, and the copyright of the comics was sold to IDW. The copyright of the animation has been changed hands several times. I don’t know the 87 version. The 03 version (from this version for the very impressive Artem Slade) is 4Kids, the 12 version and the 18 version being serialized are produced by Nick Children. In terms of movies, there were trilogy in the 90s (and a TV series and musical), the 14th and 16th editions were produced by Paramount, and the company is currently preparing to restart TMNT movies. In addition to this, there is also an animated film of version 07 (the derivative game of this one is very good, I recommend to play it).

A couple of years ago, IDW and DC published a joint cartoon of Batman and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and the animated movie was adapted from this version. The response was very good, so the two decided to continue working together. Now the main publication of Batman and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been published in the third part, and there is also a comic book of 12 Turtles and TAS bat linkage, and there are also guest appearances of the Mutant Ninja Turtles in Injustice 2. Then there is this movie.

From the third part of the bat tortoise main issue

Well, the next step is film reviews. Let me talk about some of my favorites first.

One is BGM, some of which are really interesting. For example, the opening movie and Leo's fight against Lei Xiaogu.

The second point is to laugh. Several interesting clips that I like very much in the comics have been restored. Xiaomi is still as cute as ever. This is what I am most satisfied with. The elements of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, brotherhood, skateboarding, pizza, fighting, saving the world, talking and laughing, are all fully performed in this one. It also added some very interesting small plots (for example, when Hallie called Slade in the past, Old History finally said "I hate Gotham", laughing to death). And this version of rice is really good.

Then... then it's really gone. I can only say that if there is no new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animation, you can still watch this gluttonous film. I think it's okay in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles work.

Next, talk about what I don’t like. (• ́へ•́╬)

I feel that this work has not figured out its positioning. Although many children’s animations have this problem, this is particularly obvious in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. For example, in the 12th version, some very curious monsters are often mixed in, and in the later stage, it will release itself. ; The 16th version of Megan’s dressup; although the 03 version is a sub-supply, who can tell (73 episodes of the classic dark episode, 110 episodes are still banned)? ? The master is not much better. I remember the song sung by the Raptor team in the brave and fearless squad. ̄□ ̄||It’s the same here. I think I’m going to be a child’s favorite depending on the style and plot. Is it really okay to make these things come out?

My idea is this: if you want to confess, don’t lean on the dark wind deliberately.

Then there are changes in the plot. In fact, I think the original plot is pretty good, and the bat persuading Raf to go back is very touching. It doesn't feel good to delete it.

In the animated version, although Ralph still communicated with the bat, it was changed to this: Cup Noodles felt that he was dragged down by the tortoise and wanted to drive them back to New York. Then Ralph stepped up and convinced Batman.

So I think the plot is very children also have this reason. The characters in the play have grown up, but they feel so terrible. The bat here is like an angry child. And Raf also feels weird to me. He has always been very irritable, but when it comes to a critical juncture, it is it who makes sense (not the eldest brother). It seems Raf is just arrogant.

This is still secondary. Looking at the beginning, the villain doubled to leave a way for the decent. 14 Old History is also the same. Although you are seriously injured, it is not a big problem to solve the more injured bat, right?

The ending is also funny, obviously the tortoise has complained about this, and still doesn't check it carefully. result? Lao Shi was resurrected again and again.

That’s it for the 14th edition, don’t you learn a lesson? TMNT and DC do have other works that have this problem, but the performance is not very obvious. The TMNT03 version is particularly powerful. It uses various black technologies to cover up the fact that Artem History was not killed by a tortoise.

Then in the original book I like very much, the lunatic asylum mutant monster battle.

I feel that this paragraph is not exciting at all in the animation. I am looking forward to a hearty multi-party battle, will you come one by one for me?

Listening to the opening BGM of the lunatic asylum, I feel that the director wanted to create a weird and solemn atmosphere, but I felt that the creation was quite a failure. Might as well have a lively fight.

In fact, I feel that the number of frames in this fight is not enough, probably because of funding. When I saw the news of the tortoise-bat linkage animation before, I expected to be able to link the tortoise and the master of the new 52 animation universe, and the screen looks more comfortable.

The more satisfactory change is this paragraph: Batman has been mutated. I was very excited, but I didn't expect the tortoise to be rescued after a while. I didn't expect the bat to blame the tortoise because of this incident. But I still hope that the sequel can continue to talk about this setting. After all, Sister Ba and Downey mentioned the anti-mutation original toxicity before, and the one used by the bat is also mixed with the clown poison. It would be too wasteful not to continue.

(By the way, even though he was injected with clown poison, why doesn’t the bat monster laugh...)

Next is my most disgusting section: Easter eggs. Old history has mutated again (although this time instead of drinking the mutant but falling into the chemistry pool), it is even uglier than the 12th version of the zombie Slade. Is the official going to kill me to the end? [○・`Д´・ ○]...Of course, audiences who have no feelings for Slade at the beginning may not think so. Hong Kong Zhen is my favorite American comic villain. If you operate this year's North American villain popularity rankings like this, the old history will not fall out of the top 75? (14 years still in the top 50)

PS: Having said that, 12 History and 04 Ugly are both dubbed by Kevin Michael Richardson. It is a pity that it is useless for him to dub this old history. Anyway, I have all kinds of dissatisfaction with this Slade.

But there is a sequel, I still want to see my two favorite comics continue to link up.

Summary: I give 3 stars, plus one star for double fans.

Finally, let me talk about my idea of the plot of the sequel: Bats found out that chemical drugs were stolen in New York, and believed that the matter was related to the clown, but there was nothing in the clown’s mouth, so he went to New York to investigate. After some investigations with the turtle, it was found that Slade was still alive, and the latter was planning to spread the clown gas (or mutant) throughout the city. The turtles and the bat team thought that when they were holding the winning ticket, they discovered that Slade's purpose was not this. At the same time, the residual poison in the bat's body began to explode. Finally, the truth came to light. Slade used a substance to stimulate the animal nature of the drug-injected person and make him obey him. And the turtle also discovered that this city was also under Slade's more institutions, and the real purpose of the latter is to completely destroy the turtle and the city in an entertaining way...cough, I can’t make up Up.

That's all I want to say. Hope the sequel can be more exciting. (By the way, I hope that the sequel of the Arkham game will show the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles DLC. Anyway, I know this is impossible, funny)

In the end, Bain won't work this year.
