To a certain extent, this film is similar to the French film "Butterfly", and the little details give the film a warm and human touch.
But this film is not written for favors, but for choked favors. Under the fascist rule, Teacher Gao was taken to a prison wagon. His parents were afraid of the threat of evil forces to openly rebel against the Republic, and hoped that his grandparents would insult Teacher Gao with his parents. Strangulation was born in silence, unreasonable, extraordinarily abrupt, and never forgotten. Maybe this ending is reasonable, but Wangzu can't understand the reasoning.
Like Wang Zu, we are a generation that doesn't understand the taste of freedom. If we do something that we cannot face, it is probably inevitable rather than abrupt.
