This is a lighthearted LGBT movie, especially the ending song, which can be played in a loop.
The film is reminiscent of "Love You Simon", and the open ending is full of imagination. In terms of artistry, I think it surpasses "Love You, Simon". But it is quite regrettable that the overall structure of the film still has some flaws. This can refer to another LGBT Taiwanese film " Who fell in love with him first ". This Taiwanese film uses flashbacks and has a fuller plot.
But if you are a soul pursuing freedom, this is a film that should not be missed. If you are a young man, love life, love sex, love all the beautiful things in the world, you should not miss it. If your youth is gone, this movie will let you experience the sweetness of youth and the bewildered beauty again. Youth is glamorous because of confusion.
The film is straightforward, depicting the ignorant sex of two adolescent boys. Those beautiful things we might have missed. And the attitude of the whole society towards comrades. This is a more tolerant and pluralistic society. But I think this is not the point of the film.
The highlight of the film is how to choose one's sexual partner during adolescence, whether it is a boy or a girl. This is indeed a problem. In this film, Franky actually first had a vague ambiguity with Ballas' sister, and then with Ballas. The relationship between the two is closer than that of friends. After a fight with Ballas, Franky returned to his sister Ballas again. But after opening up with his father, Franky discovered at the end of the film that maybe he loves Ballas more. This is really an open ending that makes people feel warm and dumbfounding. Maybe Franky is born a bi, which can explain why he swings back and forth. Thirty years ago, he might only be a straight man. 10 years ago, he might become a gay, but in 2019, I think maybe he will become a bisexual. His father said that, I suggest that you just pay attention to who you're drawn to and not worry too much about what to call it at this point. Worried about what kind of label he will be stared at.) So he is more attracted to Ballas, but the sister of Ballas also feels passion. This may be human nature, we are constantly attracted by different people. This may be the difference between human beings and animals. We are constantly discovering beauty in the opposite sex and the same sex.

The place where the film made me laugh is Franky and a les friend, discussing sex. This clip is really fascinating and the finishing touch of the film. Because of confusion and ignorance, youth is full of curiosity about sex.
Another thing that fascinates me is the scene where Franky and ballas beat up a few young people together. The two people are very close to each other. With this understanding, two people can have sex. Because of the inexplicable tacit understanding in our hearts, we can dedicate our bodies.
The word love you forever on the last small sign is very cleverly designed. Let the whole ending be filled with rose-like dreamy colors. This is the color of youth, although it has faded from me, but in this movie, I once again taste the taste of youth.
