Morton Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Greg Jenko (Channing Tatum) were classmates, and later met at the police academy. They helped each other and finally graduated from the police academy. Become a good partner. Reluctantly, the two of them can only be traffic police, catching small gangsters. Later, they joined the police undercover anti-drug organization "21 Jump Street". Captain Dickon (played by Ice Cube) told them that their task was to return to high school as an undercover agent and find the person who provided drugs to the students.
