The biggest shock after revisiting Home Alone is that in the 1990 movie, the United States at that time had the same material abundance and lifestyle as it is today. The clean and bright kitchens, huge single-family houses, advanced airports and cities, rich supermarkets, and even the clothes that everyone wears are still fashionable today.
