Leif and Danny are good brothers who have played together since they were young. They both have a great interest in flying. They once learned to fly planes together. At the beginning of World War II, the two joined the U.S. Air Force together. During the training, Leif fell in love with Yves, a female nurse in the military hospital.

In order to help European countries resist the Nazi German aggression, the US military decided to send elite troops to Europe. Leif volunteered to go to the war and entrusted Evelyn to Danny's care.

Soon, bad news came that Leif’s plane was unfortunately shot down by the Germans in an air battle, and the survivorship might be almost zero. Evelyn and Danny sprouted love in the pain of mutual encouragement. What they didn't expect was that Leif did not die, and when the three reunited, they were embarrassed. The Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor helped them out. Leif and Danny decided not to be rivals in love and be comrades in arms!

Before Danny was dying, Leif told him to hold on, saying that he was going to be a father, and Danny said, no, you are.

Pearl Harbor quotes

Earl: Right, guns in the tower, ten stories high. It's a long son-of-a-bitch

  • Admiral Chester W. Nimitz: So, sir, you would have us mobilize the entire fleet, at the cost of millions of dollars, based on this 'spine-tingling' feeling of yours?

Captain Thurman: No, sir. I understand my job is to gather and interpret material. Making difficult decisions based on incomplete information from my limited decoding ability is your job, sir.
