Legend has it that in Miyazaki’s hometown, there is a kind of magical creatures who live and play around us, but ordinary people cannot see them. Only the innocent and innocent minds of children can capture their signs. Calm down and listen, maybe you can faintly hear the sound of them running in the sound of the wind.
The whole movie revolves around this legend. The girl Xiaoyue and her sister Xiaomi moved to a new home in the country with their father. The beautiful rural scenery made them experience happiness they had never felt before. Encountering a dragon in the mysterious and towering old oak cave. The cat is like a hill, fat, and very cute. The sisters made friends with Totoro. Totoro took them to fly in the fields, ran to the treetops to play the flute, barefoot with an umbrella and listened in the rain rain……
What impressed me in the movie was that after Xiaomi got lost, Xiaoyue, anxiously, got on the 12-legged Totoro bus summoned by Totoro to find her. The adults can't see it at all, they just feel a gust of wind passing by. What is covering their eyes, making them blind to these innocent and beautiful things? Perhaps their childlike innocence has been wiped out.
Although the movie only tells a warm and innocent story peacefully, it makes me feel what a true fairy tale is.
