The focus of the film’s promotion is "The Lost Mayan Civilization". In fact, the film tells the story of a man saving his wife and son, which has nothing to do with Maya civilization. The film shows a very savage and cruel slave society. Killing is as simple as killing a chicken. There is a scene in which hundreds of corpses are piled together, and flies are buzzing on it. It is too real to be photographed, and it still feels uncomfortable to think of it. From the perspective of an action movie, this movie is still worth watching, but if you want to understand the Mayan civilization, you will definitely be disappointed.
