The movie started with a murder--- Dr. Kimble's wife was killed at home, with murderer fleeing away, Dr. Kimble was convicted of murder on unfavorable evidence. To find the truth of the incident, he started his fugitive through escaping hunts from Sam (a Federal Judge) with his wisdom and faith, and finally found out the murderer whose murder motive is to make an insecure new drug approved.
After covering the movie, it sets me thinking a lot.First of all,it's worth to learn from the spirit of Dr.Kimble,which is called “Never give up”. No matter what kinds of obstacle Dr.Kimble came across,he never surrendered to them. There is a scene that impressed me a lot, Dr. Kimble was desperately faced with not only a continuous hunt from Sam but also a waterfall tumbling down in front of him,however,he chose to jump over the waterfall regardless of his safety, which amazed all of us,leaving Sam stunned and still with a word “He never gave up”.
What's more, Dr. Kimble always played his role so well as a doctor. Above of all, he didn't start a collusion with pharmaceutical companies for economic benefits, but proved that the new drug did harm to liver tissue and showed opposition to bring the new drug to market for people's health, which exactly resulted into the murder .Moreover ,he never tried to kill anyone through the fugitive even he had the chance and reason.On the contrary, he told the attending there is a puncture in the upper gastric area in the survivor .Also, he made the correct diagnosis of the little boy with fractured sternum ,changed orders and sent him to surgery in time and thus saved his life.
So there is no denying the fact that Dr. Kimble is a responsible and qualified doctor who worths our respect and learning from.As a medical student, I am prone to complain about our stressful studying and not good at dealing with the hardship and passive emotions .It's Dr.Kimble who explicates the saying “Nothing is unachievable”.In addition, it is more significant to learn to behave than master medical knowledge before becoming a doctor. Try to bear it in mind that the doctor's motive is to bring an end to his patient's suffering rather than obtain illegitimate interests from them.
In a word, the movie is so inspiring and I got inspired. “To cure sometimes, to relieve often, to comfort always.” is what I exactly pursue.
