In my personal opinion, this pot must be memorized by the director. He used all the advantages he just mentioned to make an idol drama, essentially one sentence: poor scheduling.

If you can’t achieve the contrast, how can you create a sense of drama, and how can you explain the theme? Maybe the director wants to say that beasts are cute, orz... Then why not shoot the love between humans and beasts?
The Beast and Belle danced for the first time. They were embarrassed and the scheduling was too immature. This was a very exciting scene. On the other hand, the director focused on the awkward dance at the dining table [Tan Hand]. We can also pay attention to the last group dance scene. Our male and female protagonists have basically become interlining, no more than other supporting roles. In the dance of Gaston's Song, the characters in the tavern are chaotic and unstructured. And there are several shots, and the position of the protagonist's lens is extremely inappropriate, and the composition is ugly.
Also, Dandanlong didn't have a few normal shots, and there were so many bad shots on Emma Watson that I started to hate her. How does this make me believe that there is love between them? !
Of course, the ending was happy, and I was still moved. Especially the little brother who found himself because of being cross-dressed, finally found "true love", which is definitely a "private" item carried by the creator (huge significance for same-sex equality). But at this point, private goods are not enough.
Regarding the story itself, the section where the villagers were instigated by Luke to rush towards the castle is also a commonplace in fairy tales that warns us not to be fools. At the same time, the movie also specifically emphasizes the meaning of reading. But I think the plot arrangement is not so reasonable, so that the whole is slightly lengthy, and the connotation that the story itself should have cannot stand up. sigh.
For example, "What does the study of the beast symbolize?" In the film, I can hardly see a deeper level of display. In fact, the beast gave her a study room, which meant that it gave her a broader world and resolved the little doubts between her and her father. The two actually had a process of being considerate to each other, and based on this, love came into being. The film's shaping in this aspect is very superficial.
Of course, you may also say that fairy tales are just fairy tales. What kind of connotation do they need? Then we can only say goodbye. I suggest you to watch the director's "Twilight 4" more times, if you like it, then watch it more times~
