Tear-resistant detective: let's not do the basics

Following a series of buddy action movies in the 1990s, Shane Black believes that he has absorbed a lot of experience from "Iron Man 3" and moved forward again as an oolong detective in the "Little Thief·Beauty·Cute Detective" ten years ago. And pushing back one step further proved that he is the most important general in the field of partner action movies.
Before "Tear Detective", we hadn't seen such a well-functioning and impartial dual protagonist-driven movie for a long time. Whether it is a drama or a pure comedy, it is difficult to avoid the phenomenon of neglecting the other. In addition to replacing the traditional image of the police with private detectives and hired thugs, the background of "Tear-resistant Detective" is still a typical police comedy. The background setting of Los Angeles in the 1970s fully demonstrated the hippie culture. The texture, laughter, music and performance are all natural, and the psychedelic political & erotic conspiracy theories are even more fascinating-and PTA’s "Nature is Evil" has different tunes but equal work. Although "Tear Detective" has many action scenes, the film is quite successful in character shaping, which makes the presentation and atmosphere creation of comedy more natural.
Unlike the films of the Apatou Gang or Seth Rogen, the black humorous comedy of "Tear-resistant Detective" is of high quality and full of quality, with a low repetition rate, which makes it appear refined and smart. In addition to language and body, the movie has more farce-like moments, but the control is in place and there is no performance.
"Tear-resistant Detective" is the same as the previous Shane Black movies, it is extraordinarily mellow and full of chemical reactions. In today's popular scene on the screen, the pure and stupid hard brothers are even more rare.

Shane Black has returned to the big screen after three years. Compared with the "big is good" during the "Iron Man 3" period, he is obviously more comfortable with smaller film formats. The LA background in the 1970s and the detective story body are mutually exclusive. The retro time setting is more necessary than "X-Men: Apocalypse", not just a narrative technique to earn goodwill. The witty dialogue with black humor and the wonderful performance of the two male protagonists ensure that the protagonist image of "Tear-resistant Detective" will never be out of date. Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling’s partner can be described as the best duo in recent years. The former has tried various types after the recovery, and dedicated the best performance in the past ten years; while the latter has After walking in the independent film industry for a long time, he fully demonstrated his excellent comedy talent for the first time, and what we have seen before in "Big Short" and "Crazy Stupid Love" is just a glimpse. The two convincingly demonstrated the bizarre personalities of the two protagonists, as well as the budding friendship/partnership.
Most of Ryan Gosling’s characters are extremely serious, mumbling to self-torture, but in "Tear-resistant Detective", he successfully portrays himself as a clumsy upright boy with a crushing smile. Called perfection, it balances the exaggeration of comedy and the down-to-earth character image. Although it is not very successful as a father and a detective, it is inevitably funny. In contrast, although Russell Crowe's performance is very good, but the feeling of joy is a bit slow.
Compared with successful characters, although the script of conspiracy theory is well-designed, sometimes the story unfolds too dull, which will make the audience lose patience. But on the whole, "Tear-resistant Detective" is satisfying, and it is an excellent work that is pleasing to watch.
But the real big star of "Tear Detective" is the young Australian girl Angouri Rice Angourie Rice, fresh and interesting, super stealing, mature temperament without stage fright, if there is a sequel (it does have this idea from the end) , Will definitely make people want to see more and more.

"Tear-resistant Detective" is quite brilliant in every aspect, and the direct chemical reaction between the two protagonists is quite impressive. The story itself is not so original and unique. Although it has the flavor of Chandler's and Leonard's detective novels, it does not open up any new directions. The audience can also solve the mystery independently while watching Ershu Meimei. But it doesn't matter at all. After all, as an action comedy, it can provide two plump characters and a very clever script, which is already very good.
In today's sequel remakes and the proliferation of superheroes, it is quite rare to see such a relaxing comedy back to basics. It does not belong to any huge series of movies, there are no CG special effects flying all over the sky, no superheroes, no sci-fi style flying cars, but two people simply tried to decrypt and found the real murderer, and recovered the "Deadly Weapon" series or "Beaver" The wonderful essence of Lishan Detective.
"Tear-resistant Detective" is a big surprise. Although it is not a perfect movie, nor is it a perfect comedy, it is definitely one of the most not-to-miss movies this year.

It's pretty good, the laughs are really good, and the plot is not bad, but the reasoning plot is a bit weak. The second half feels the same to me as "The Female Spy". This movie didn't really impress me, it was average.

Very happy, these handsome guys like Clooney, Peter Gosling, etc. are so stupid that they are acting stupid.
