A profound biographical film

The film is about the history of arms dealer Yuri Olof becoming the world's premier "King of War". Most of the warlords and leaders in the world have done business with him, and most of the war-torn areas in the world are using the weapons he sells.

After the collapse of the former Soviet Union, a large number of light and heavy weapons and munitions have flowed into the global market. It is estimated that between 1982 and 1992 alone, arms worth more than 32 billion U.S. dollars flowed into the black market and were sold by brokers and arms dealers to third-world countries with wars everywhere. In these transactions involving huge amounts of interest, various warlords, spy agents, international criminal groups, and even the US government itself are entangled in them, constructing an intricate and thrilling interest network.

Yuri is undoubtedly the winner of this arms world. He brought this chaotic order, brought countless family disasters, and brought the shadow of death. It is said that this is an autobiographical movie, and the life similarity of Victor Bout, the world's most wanted arms dealer, is as high as 60%.

This is a mysterious man, a former member of the KGB, owns the world's largest private cargo cluster, and uses his own air cargo network to transport weapons to various conflict areas around the world. He was arrested in Thailand in 2006 and was later rushed to extradite by many countries. As said in "The King of War", when the real arms dealers in the world are actually the governments of several superpowers, who can sanction them?

The excitement inside and outside the play undoubtedly makes this film exceptionally dazzling. Nicholas Cage is a talented actor who can control all kinds of movies. He is the melancholy and distressing angel in "City of Angels". He is the intelligent adventurer in "National Treasure" and in "Stone Breakthrough". A brave scientist, he is the neurotic criminal in "The Match Man", he is an ordinary man who suffered a mid-life crisis in "The Weatherman", and he is also a wild and introverted arms dealer in this film... The

classics are worthy of repeated scrutiny. , The lines are full of charm, so I won’t say much here. Anyway, watching this movie, you’re right.

The wavering humanity in the smoke of war, the dark forces behind the gun trade. The darkest is always the holder of the highest power in the country.

(8/10) 1. The "life of a bullet" at the beginning is a bit interesting. 2. The shell of the story is very similar to the classic robber films. The male protagonist, driven by various desires, relied on illegal behavior to reach the peak of his life, and finally turned into self-destruction because of desire. 3. The first and last echoes, a lot of monologues, and a lot of joking ridicule and reflection, Cage is very good. 4. War and peace, we choose peace, there will always be people who choose war, if you don't do it, there will always be people who will.

Yuri Orlov: Because it's not true I'm leaving tonight on a job

Vitaly Orlov: I can't, I have a girlfriend and I think she might be the one plus I'm thinking of opening my own place

Yuri Orlov: Maybe this will trip will help, its good money

Vitaly Orlov: I've given my word

Yuri Orlov: Nobody has to know, we'll tell everyone we're going for a little R and R

Vitaly Orlov: What do you need me for all of a sudden?

Yuri Orlov: Everything's fucked up more than usual. I can't trust anybody, I need you to watch my back

  • Yuri Orlov: [Narrating] I was so caught up in the deal, I never realized what was going on in Vitaly's head. Come to think about it, maybe I never really understood what was going on inside his head. One thing I do understand for certain is that Vitaly broke the cardinal rule of gun running: never pick up a gun and join the customers. Only half the guns and ammunition was gone so I was still entitled to half the diamonds ,if I took them I was lost, if I left them I was still lost. The massacre played out exactly how Vitaly predicted but then half a dozen massacres happened Sierra Leone that week you can't stop them all, in my experience you can't stop any of them
