The Terminator's Subversion and Tribute

The overall structure of the story is not successful, at least the old stalk still feels that the explosion has been tried and tested. There is no new idea. It continues the previous worldview and has no loopholes in logic. Even a few robots are not much different from the previous ones, but It’s even cooler on the technical screen.
There have been a lot of subversions in the role. John suddenly became the leader of saving mankind and turned into a big villain. The heroine suddenly turned from the previous good and weak into a strong female warrior. I only saw the first part of the previous Terminator series. I thought that there was a Terminator who was sent to rescue and raised the heroine before. I came back and looked at the first few introductions and found that there was no. So from the moment John was attacked, he had entered a new parallel world, completely irrelevant to the previous one, so the big boss he thought was knocked out at the very beginning. Such a setting is pretty easy and natural. But it completely subverted the previous assumption that I am a bit unaccustomed to it.
This new heroine feels a lot like the old heroine before. I believe it’s not that I’m blind~ Seeing Schwarzenegger’s gray hair is still quite emotional. In the end, no one sacrificed the protagonist, which is also regarded as HE. It’s just that the old man is Who sent it and left a foreshadowing about what happened. It seems that there is another one.
I am old, but not obsolete.

Detective O'Brien: That's the new breacher. Big blast, no shrapnel. Blows a door clean off.

    Guardian: [looks blankly at O'Brien]

Detective O'Brien: You know, for people who can't do that themselves.

  • Terminator: [approaches punks] Your clothes, give them to me. Now.

Guardian: [from behind] You won't need them.

[Young Terminator turns around to find the Older good Terminator unhooding himself and carrying a shotgun]

Guardian: I've been waiting for you.
