Human thoughts and feelings are the most complicated in the living body we know. The living nature of animals no longer guarantees human satisfaction. How much of our daily dissatisfaction, depression, and negativity is actually not a subjective emptiness.
The daydreamer seems to be saying such a thing, do it boldly. But it may not be. The face-saving project of the whole movie is well done. Greenland, Iceland, and the Himalayas have too much impact on us who live like ants in the cities. The shock of the picture makes the audience in the theater unavoidable from time to time." Wow". The story itself is lazy, simply transporting beautiful images, but not carefully sorting out the emotions that I want to express.
The daydreamer has set himself a very ambitious goal from the beginning, wanting to explore the purpose of life-pick up the courage and run towards the unknown. However, the story is opportunistic, relying entirely on the concept of landscape and Life magazine's spiritual heritage to attract emotional votes. The whole movie is trying to accumulate emotions, hoping to reach the height of the meaning of life, but the fragmented plot keeps discouraging the story. The character is too self-centered, and the protagonist Walter walked to these unknown lands, but did not enter the culture of these lands. The unknown is not just the freshness of unfamiliar scenery. The reason why travel brings us shock is the broadening of our vision, the transformation of perspective, and the understanding of the world with a new perspective. The exoticism projected by Greenland, Iceland, and the Himalayas, and the symbolic meaning of Life magazine, were only used in the end.
It is scientifically proven that the human brain is hungry for shock, and the emotional response caused by shock can be transformed into material health improvement. After experiencing the shock, we will feel that we have more time for ourselves, more patience, more willing to help others, and no longer so materialistic. Although life continues and everything is business as usual, the shocking experience has changed our thinking.

The whole movie really touched me and made me feel connected with the character. It was when Walter jumped on the take-off helicopter under the inspiration of the fanciful Cheryl playing encouraging songs for him. At that moment, he took off with the fuselage. , Walter's eyes rolled round in the slow motion, following his eyes opened together, is another scene of the world he saw. That shot can really remind me of how I felt when I was moved and shocked by the beauty of the world. These moments can change us.
But this movie did not.
"To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, to draw closer, to find each other and to feel. That this is the purpose of'Life' ".
Imagine that the climax of the whole movie is just beauty and a few Inspiring words, then what is the story to do.
(In addition, the Greenland and Afghanistan parts of the movie were shot in Iceland.)
