Another star gives this movie's forward consciousness. The producers must have never thought that a few years later, an avatar will be released in this world. Their "super-advanced" ability to convey consciousness with their tails is exactly the same as the benevolent robots at the end of the film. They must have not thought of it yet. A few years later, there was a movie called Teddy Bear. The teddy bear in it was far lower than the little Teddy in this film in terms of cuteness and tolerance.
