There were some questions in my mind after reading, but no one said.

After watching it, I don't think this is a disappointing film. But there are some details, I wonder if I didn't look carefully. Take it out and discuss it with everyone.
Does anyone really understand red dragon? What is the meaning of the shape like a butterfly turning into a cocoon, and the women wearing sunshine next to them? Why do you want to complete his ritual by killing a family on the night of the full moon? And the glass inserted in the eye, really to see yourself when the attack was committed? The reason for choosing those women seems to be unclear in the film. Is there a good privacy yard for him to perform rituals in the moonlight naked? What is the purpose of the pets of the victims in the film? The film did not publicly say about Ralph's criteria for choosing the victim, so I watched this film with many questions, but in the end I didn't see the director tell us the answer. It really hurts.
Regarding the words Ralph said to the blind girl later in the film and his muttering to himself in the attic before, what I understand is that Ralph enshrines the red dragon as an entity and then enshrines the female body as a sacrifice, etc. Things, later he went to the museum to look for paintings because of his feelings and wanted to save the blind girl. Why did he want to eat it? At first I thought he ate it to blend in with the red dragon. . . Wouldn't it be burned if you take it home? Or is this a gimmick designed by the director to increase visual impact?
Ralph was abused when he was a child. Why did this lead him to worship the Red Dragon later?
The title of the film is red dragon, but the film does not tell us what red dragon is. Can anyone who has read the original book come out and answer my questions? Or do I have to see manhunter?

I rub, it turns out that the killer in the red dragon is the same person as Voldemort. . . . . .

Even if the overall narrative is gradual, the rhythm is relaxed, and the logic of mental warfare is rigorous and meticulous, it can't match the sparks of the three big dramas in the same scene. The actors' unhurried acting brilliance completely overshadowed the story itself. Anthony, Norton, and Ralph are all powerful actors with temperament and charm. They exude a breathtaking aura, each with their unique on-screen charm and dripping acting skills. Focusing the audience's eyes on them, the play was sad. Three-in-one is undoubtedly a magnificent ace card. Even in the face of such a prestigious cast, I still like Red Dragon's script, and the ripples that have made me have endless aftertastes. Treating the three of them, even if I was picky, I couldn't find the slightest thorn in it. Norton’s will is blond, blue-eyed, calm, arrogant and courageous, and the fortitude and fragility in his eyes are intertwined with each other. These are just as cute as Hannibal’s previous cat-and-mouse games, under the iceberg. Undercurrent surging sexual tension, deep and tense ♂ communication is more exciting than real GV

Red Dragon quotes

  • Dr. Frederick Chilton: Tell me, when you saw Lecter's murders, their style, so to speak, were you able perhaps to reconstruct his fantasies? And, if so, did you jot down any impressions?

    Will Graham: No.

Dr. Frederick Chilton: Let me be frank, Mr. Graham. The first definitive analysis of Lecter will be a publisher's wet dream. I'd give you full credit, of course

    [Graham towards cell door]

Dr. Frederick Chilton: Dammit, man, you must have some advice. You caught him. What was your trick?

Will Graham: I let him kill me.

  • Hannibal Lecter: First he kills the pet, and then the family. Freddy was your pet, Will.
