The dream is not to sell yourself, but to raise your fist

People who have watched "Rocky" must really like this film, and I am no exception.

The film "Real Steel" has inherited so many things. It can be said to be a sequel to "Rocky", or it can be said to be a tribute to "Rocky". Not only that, "Real Steel" also contributes to "Star Wars" and " Gundam, "The Pursuit of Happyness", and "Into the West" expressed their respect.

However, "Real Steel" is not a repetition of classics, just like "Million Dollar Baby" and "The Fighter" is not "Rocky". The movie expresses what is more real and should be thought of in our current era. And this thing is something that has rarely been thought of in previous films:

what do you do when the thing you are defending disappears? When the stage you need for your dream is gone, you will be desperate and give up?

This era is different. In the 1970s of "Rocky", social development was very slow, and there are stages where you can play your dreams everywhere. There are very few changes ten years ago and ten years later. In 2020 of "Real Steel", the boxing stage was replaced by robots. Those who chased their dreams on the boxing ring lost the stage to display, and they fell one by one, becoming a forgotten past.
In 2011, we can make a change, and the stage for us to display our dreams is becoming more and more complicated, so that for most ordinary us, dreams are becoming more and more difficult to realize.

Yes, the stage is almost gone, where are the dreams?
However, the movie tells us: Maybe it is a good thing that the stage is gone, because then you are more likely to know that what your dream needs is not a specific stage, but yourself. Even when everyone abandons us, we at least have ourselves.

The movie is very careful. The background music "Alexi Murdoch-All My Days" at the beginning hints at the theme of the movie:
we have been pursuing our lives all our lives, to find our own dreams.

What is it that people are looking for? No one may be able to make it clear, but at least this film and other films tell us that many things are actually not important. Both "Real Steel" and "Rocky" lost to their opponents in the end, and life fell flat. We know that after the game, the male protagonist’s child will return to his aunt, the heroine and the male protagonist may not be able to come together, and the male protagonist himself will still have to live a life of bumps in the ending. And their glorious story is just like the hero's glorious a few years ago, only a piece of news in the newspaper, occasionally collected by a few caring people, but nothing more.

However, even if it is such a result, so what? Is this the reason for giving up? If you think so, then you have misunderstood your dreams. For dreams, winning or losing is not important, nor is fame and fortune. What is important is that you must use your fist to compete. Because the dream belongs to you, you are responsible for it.

Two robots, one is called Zeus (Zeus=God), the other is called Atom (Atom=Adam), one is the human god in Greek mythology, and the other is the human ancestor in the Bible. Westerners have always had no good feelings about the gods in Greek mythology: domineering, greedy, fearful, and jealous; Adam, as the ancestor of man, had to leave heaven and shoulder the burden of secular life. Adam challenged Zeus, that is, people are challenging God, it is the ordinary grassroots who is challenging the authority of the elite, and it is also challenging himself. People who have played the video game "God of War" should be able to feel quite deep. The protagonist of the game is just an ordinary human being. The gods fought for their own piece of sky.

By the way, don’t many boys say they don’t understand girls’ minds? You just look at the actor boxing it looks like you know what girls like in the end, what money, power ah are next, whereas it takes a sinew meat do not know how to throw a punch, it is no good:
"So far just to come Is a kiss worth it?"
"It's worth it."

The emotional aspect of the movie is very well handled. There are very few things that make me cry. But this movie made my eyes moist and I shed tears many times. The expression of father and son feelings, men and women feelings is very real and natural, a kind of heartfelt moving. The film team is a person who loves life. It does not use the ups and downs to force the audience to accept it with the "ghost crying wolf howling" plot. Instead, it reveals itself naturally, showing sincerity in plainness, and caring in simplicity.

Here, I want to criticize the domestic directors. These directors always say what is good or not, and that it is not good. Domestically, "Let the Bullets Fly" has been released. "Real Steel" can call men and women of all ages to the cinema, so that some people will pay attention to "How can Max dig out the robot in one night alone", "Lord Wolf is sexy under sweatpants "Fully round butt" can also bring some spiritual aspects that people like me are more interested in... So: It's not that the domestic audience is picky, but your skills are poor.

In the past, a person said very seriously: "Does it mean that one person’s point of view is to combine all his life’s speech? This author may have such a charm to you, but not to me. I criticized his article for this article. People don’t have any special opinions. He hasn’t
reached that point.” I’m a little bit unable to understand this sentence. What is the gain, and it will also cause a lot of misunderstandings and misunderstandings. Everyone's performance is closely related to the environment and the background of the subject. If I don't look at the things behind these things, how can I understand the meaning of the other person? What can you see if you look at something in isolation like this?
The article is still like this. Isn't it the same for movies, music, and even the people and things that you have to face in reality? Just looking at it from one angle, I really find it difficult to see something.

I saw an article about the plot of American machines earlier, and I talked to some foreigners about this, and I also saw more things from the "Transformers" series. So, if you want to watch this movie, I recommend to watch the movies I just mentioned before. It's like watching "Serenity" if you haven't watched "Firefly", or watching "Real Steel" without watching "The Pursuit of Happyness" and "Rocky". It's just like treating westerns as gunfights, star wars as sci-fi films, and boxing films as violent films.

If you go to the film because of my film review and you don't see the things I said above, I can only express regret about it. However, I think there are endless stories in this film. People at every level can see what they like and need.

In short, don't give up your dreams, don't sell yourself, but clenched your fists and give those who despise you and laugh at you a heavy blow. So my words are not authoritative. If it is true, then use your fist to knock me directly~

Epilog: Attach the lyrics of the

opening song "Alexi Murdoch-All My Days": Alexi Murdoch-All My Days
I have been searching all of my days
All of my days
Many a road, you know
I have been walking on
All of my days
And I have been trying to find
What’s been in my mind
As the days keep turning into night

I have been quietly standing in the shade
All of my days
Watch the sky breaking on the promise that we made
All of this rain
And I've been trying to find
What’s been in my mind
As the days keep turning into night

Many a night I found myself with no friends standing near
All of my days
I cried aloud
I shook my hands
What am I doing here
All of these days
For I look around me
And my eyes I can't found me
And it has just too bright
As the days keep turning into night

Now I see clearly
It’s you will looking for
All of my days
Soon l smile
I know l feel this loneliness no more
All of my days
For I look around me
And it seems He found me
And it coming into sight
As the days keep turning into night
As the days keep turning into night
And even breathing feels all right
Yes, even breathing feels all right
Now even breathing feels all right
It’s even breathing feels all right.
