The coolest girl in the world! (All spoilers, don’t watch!)

Twenty-five years later, she came to the old policeman with her only arm. He died three days ago. She took him home to his hometown for burial, standing under a tree, looking at the tombstone.

"Others must think I am a weird old virgin. Indeed, I am not married and I don't have time to do that kind of stupid thing." She turned around resolutely and walked away firmly and firmly. I almost cried.

At the age of 14, her father was killed by a villain. She came to do the funeral alone, slept among the dead, and bargained with profiteers. In order to take revenge, she found an old policeman named Rooster Cogburn, and asked him to lead himself to pursue the murderer. When she found him the next morning, he had already set off. She rode a horse to chase wildly, swimming across the river. Together with the Mounted Police from Texas, they finally formed a weird trio of chasing murderers.

The climax was of course that she hit the enemy with a single shot, but was pushed back into the hole by the back force. There were many corpses in the hole. She grabbed the chest of a corpse, and there were shining clusters of poisonous snakes (this shot made me extremely uncomfortable).

After that, the horse ran wildly between life and death. The knife pierced into the beloved little pony, and in the end it was exhausted. The old policeman hugged her and ran, collapsed in front of the house, and then a warm light slowly lit up in the house. "I'm really old." This is the climax. Why do some people say that this movie has no climax?

The music is used too well. Simple, from beginning to end, but giving the film a poetic touch.

The best movie I've seen recently!

True Grit quotes

  • Rooster Cogburn: [referring to the defense attorney] Pencil-necked son of a bitch!

  • Mattie Ross: Who's the best marshal?

Sheriff: I'll have to weigh that. William Waters is the best tracker. He's half Comanche, and it is something to see him cut for sign. The meanest is Rooster Cogburn; he is a pitiless man, double tough, and fear don't enter into his thinking. Loves to pull a cork... The best is probably L.T. Quinn; he brings his prisoners in alive. Now, he might let one slip by now and again, but he believes that even the worst of men is entitled to a fair shake.

Mattie Ross: Where can I find this Rooster?
